- Can I use Kaiser as an individual?
- Yes. Personal Pro ($9/mo) is built for solo creators, indie devs, tutors and podcasters — no team setup, no seat fees.
- What's the difference between Personal Pro and Build?
- Personal Pro is for one person — your personal workspace. Build is a team plan with shared billing, members, roles and admin tools. You can convert your personal workspace into a team workspace any time.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. Starter is free forever, no credit card. Use it for up to 10 participants and 1 GB of recording.
- How does per-participant-minute pricing work?
- On Build, you're billed $0.04 for every minute a participant is in a room. A 30-minute meeting with 6 participants costs ~$7.20. Personal Pro is flat — no usage charges.
- Can I self-host?
- Yes — Enterprise customers can deploy Kaiser into their own VPC or on-prem.
- Do you charge per seat?
- No. Hosts, co-hosts and admins are unlimited on every plan.
